Matcha Rush privacy policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Matcha Rush is a time-management game for Android published by Libergot. This page explains what data the game uses, where it goes, and what you can do about it.

In short: there is no account and I never see your progress, which stays on your phone. The game shows rewarded ads (only when you choose to watch one), provided by Google AdMob, and sends anonymous gameplay statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase to help balance the levels and fix bugs. Purchases are handled by Google Play.

1. Your progress

Your stars, records, coins, gems, upgrades, unlocked purchases and settings (sound, music, vibration, language) are stored only on your phone. Matcha Rush has no server and no account.

If Android backup is turned on, Android may include this progress in your Google account backup, so it follows you to a new phone. This is a feature of Android; you can turn it off in your phone's settings.

2. Rewarded ads (Google AdMob)

Some rewards (a heart to keep playing, bonus gems) can be earned by watching an ad. Ads are never shown unless you tap to watch one. They are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect:

Google uses this data to show and measure ads, and, if you agree, to personalise them. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent on first launch, using Google's consent form; you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad consent. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android's settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

If you buy No ads, rewards are granted without watching ads and the game no longer loads them.

3. Statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

To see where players get stuck and fix bugs, the game sends anonymous data to Google Firebase:

ServiceWhat is sent
Firebase Analytics Gameplay events — level started or finished, stars, coins earned, length of the game, in-game purchases with coins or gems, rewarded ads watched, in-app purchases — plus an app instance identifier, device model, Android version, country, language and app version.
Firebase Crashlytics When the game crashes: the technical error report, device model and Android version.

This data contains no name, email address or other information that identifies you directly. Google keeps it for a limited time (Analytics: 2 months by default, 14 months at most; Crashlytics: 90 days). See Firebase privacy and security.

4. In-app purchases

Optional purchases (No ads, welcome pack, gem packs) are handled entirely by Google Play. The game only receives a confirmation of what you bought; it never sees your payment details. Google Play's own policies apply to the payment.

5. Permissions

The game does not access your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone.

6. Children

Matcha Rush is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Deleting your data

Your progress is on your phone: you can delete it by clearing the game's data in Android settings, or by uninstalling the game. The statistics and ad data held by Google are not linked to your name or email; you can reset your advertising ID in Android settings, and contact me if you have any request.

8. Changes

If the way Matcha Rush handles data changes, this page will be updated and its date changed.
